Don't stay long where you are not putting your complete heart into what you are doing. It creates lots of bad habits without you being aware of it. It effects you more than you can imagine.
You want to do something different, people might say it will not work. If you get excited to do something when you imagine doing it then just do it. As time goes on you will tell to yourself, it's not worth my time or it's not a useful step to get the desired result.
You just don't know. I suggest, when you get excited to do some thing. Just make sure you do it. Don't ask others is it useful to do? They will not get excited as you are. It's somewhat like asking permission to do things. You heart and intuition says to do it. Do it. Other's experiences and intuition and emotions are never the same as yours. So it's always advisable to go with your emotions, intuition and experiences.
Taking action will get you clarity. Just choose the smallest step in the direction and do it. Just keep doing it on the side. Plan to set aside some time for the action to take place on the side. As actions flow, you will get clarity to go in that direction or not. It's far better way to take decision. Instead of just accepting other's opinion as your decision.
Action leads to clarity and clarity leads to action, it's an upward spiral. Add a bit of solitude to this process you will be an awesome decision maker.
