A lot of personal projects that turned out to be a "success" are the ones where I never thought about success in the first place.
Often the most researched pieces I write, are the ones that no one reads. Often the projects I over think the most, are the ones no one cares about.
This doesn't mean that my researched articles are bad, but it means they are at least equal to everything else I put out.
For every article that people enjoyed, there are ten more that no one enjoyed. The real question is, how many more unfinished ones are there? The worst thing I can do is not finish, not hitting the publish button. Sadly, that's the case more often than you think.
The story above is a reminder that finishing counts. It means that if you have a thought, write it down, publish it and free it from your mind. The same goes for your side project, your design, your video or whatever it might be.
Now I'm sitting here, almost 2am on a Tuesday morning and thinking about deleting this whole email. Maybe I can come up with a good excuse.
If you read this, I couldn't find an excuse. I finished.
Have a wonderful week
