Today May 7th I have shipped my work to my audience. I shipped it on BSNL edge network. Not the bleeding edge (ACTFiber) one, which was gone, due to recent heavy rain in Hyderabad. No proper signal in my house. So I am left with 2G only. From afternoon I was waiting for ACTFiber internet to get fixed. I tried to search all corners in my house for signal, in my BSNL phone, so I can use 3G. Then I just enabled Edge (2G), it worked. I was so happy to get the speed I used 18 years back in College. I am so desperate in need of internet to push my work. Finally I pushed the changes to Github. Just 2 files. Then I email my friend Prabhu to share it with the people for whom I have created those 2 webpages. I though once he checks email, he will post by end of the day. Then I was thinking what to do next, I have internet now :-). I got a "Thank You" SMS from another friend Basanth. Oh Prabhu must have shared in the FB group. Checked gmail and found that he shared it. I was so happy in the moment that I finally shipped and made small thing into reality. Which was just in my head for so many months.
As I was writing this, a student from 2nd year called on phone. It was just an enquiry but I was happy to help. She expressed interest in learning from Ravi Sir in the summer holidays.
Two things have influence on me.
First one
“the greatest shortage in our society is an instinct to produce. To create solutions and hustle them out the door. To touch the humanity inside and connect to the humans in the marketplace."
Excerpt From: Seth Godin. “Linchpin." iBooks.
Second one
“Use whatever you’ve got already or can afford cheaply. Then go. It’s not the gear that matters. It’s playing what you’ve got as well as you can. Your tone is in your fingers."
Excerpt From: Jason Fried. “Rework." iBooks.
This the internet I have to work with

This is what I was. I have spend money on tools to ship something. But never shipped anything. When first iPhone SDK got released in 2008, I got interested and got a Mac Mini. I did not develop a complete iOS App. Later I bought MacBook Air, on which I am writing now. I did buy Apple Developer License, but did not publish an App. I have not developed a complete App end to end till now. I love iOS technology and wanted to develop Apps but never I did. It's like I love Electrical subject and got just passed with 40 marks. You never know whether you passed one your own or at someone's mercy who added few marks to make it 40. We used to have this beleif, if you get stamp marks you actually failed and passed at someone's mercy. Only if you get 41 means you passed on your own.
I am happy that I have shipped, thanks to Seth Godin for writing wonderful book Linchpin.
